Here are things to know about the 101er.

1. Each "review" contains exactly 101 words.

2. While most of these reviews concern music, literature and media, they also touch upon other phenomena, including economics, architecture, nature, race, family, politics, travel, class, food, power, gender, film, culture, and education.

3. The 101er is an experiment in relational thinking. How will the different reviews interconnect? Will they at all? As the blog grows in posts and topics, will the whole become greater than the sum of its parts; will synergy be achieved, or will the parts remain apart?
